Howard Levy - Trombone

As many artists that have been influenced by the beauty of music and art, Howard was enticed as a young child and went on become an artist himself.  Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, he learned the diverse cultural music and sounds from the Island.  He got his musical start by playing along with his family his local church, where his Father was his greatest influence.  He began with the drums and continued to experimented with different instruments, discovering a passion for playing the congas and the trombone.

In the 80's, Howard played with the Band, Liquid Blue, circuiting the clubs of NYC and recording a CD.  During his journey he became involved in numerous musical opportunities and experiences; playing with the likes of Joe Taino, The stuff, The Rusty Monks, The Ernie G Band, Ms. Pop and the Bad Touch, The Sound Tribe.

Howard looks forward to his collaborations with the members of Sangha Tierra as they continue to share their music with message of unity and peace!
