Howard Levy - Trombone

Throughout the ages, many aspiring and young artists that have been influenced by the beauty of music and art, and Howard was one; enticed as a young child he went on to become an artist himself.  Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, he learned from the diverse cultural music and sounds from the Island.  

He got his musical start by playing along with his family his local church, where his Father was his greatest inspiration.  He began with the drums and continued to experiment with different instruments, hence discovering his passion for playing the congas and the trombone. 

In the 80's, Howard played with the Band Liquid Blue, as they circuited the clubs of NYC and then recording a CD.  During his musical journey, he became involved in numerous musical opportunities and experiences such as playing with the likes of Joe Taino, The Stuff, The Rusty Monks, The Ernie G Band, Ms. Pop and the Bad Touch, The Sound Tribe and more.

Howard looks forward to his collaborations with the members of Sangha Tierra as they continue to share their inspiring World Music, spreading with the messages of unity, love and peace!
